I love to create portraits in artistic environments and I’ve always been curious about Salvation Mountain. I saw the Kesha video awhile back and was so obsessed with the tv installation. So naturally the 4 of us hopped in the car and had a photowalk through out these lively creations. Honestly driving up was a little intimidating at first but then we realized that the staff at East Jesus was so easy going and welcoming. Every semester we have a fun photo walk with our interns and this was a fun day full of friendship and laughter. There are so many things I love about Shewanders and our interns are at the top of the list. I love giving back and my greatest hope is that the love of photography stays with them for a lifetime as it has with mine.
Get in your car! =) xoxo Suzanne

It was so cool to meet their family and friends. A few people came up to me and told me which of their engagement photos were their favorite and I loved the midwestern hospitality. There were so many beautiful moments I don't even know where to start.
