Only in her wildest dreams could a wedding be so spectacular. Ashley is creative and sweet. Ryan is confident and caring. Together, these sweethearts have braved nine years of love before Ryan got down on one knee. The sun was setting on a beach in Encinitas... the moment was perfection.

Ashley and Ryan's earthy and vintage wedding was held in the summer sunshine at the San Diego Botanic Gardens. 4 THINGS... REFLECTIONS

Hi & I hope you are all having a wonderful week! As weā€™re gearing up for Saint Patrickā€™s Day and the first day of Spring I just want to take a quick look back at the great things that have happened this week.Dreaming of: A gorgeous Mad Men inspired shoot at The Parker in Palm Springs that Mike and I are doing later this week. We did a similarly themed engagement shoot a few years ago & I canā€™t wait to do another.

Concepting: Ā I created a pinterest board of a super fun shoot Iā€™m hoping to create this summer. It feels like leather, slicked back hair, and Kate Moss- I canā€™t wait.

Inspired by: This week Mike and I have started doing a five minute journal Ā & I already feel more grateful. I can see my daily meditation and journaling improving my year already.

Reading: Iā€™m reading over my notes from the Photo Field Trip we did earlier this month and I am inspired to shoot more personal work.

With Spring just around the corner, its hard to not crack a smile thinking of the nostalgia that warmer weather brings. Although it's never too cold in Southern California, there is true happiness in trading in those jeans and cardigans for dresses and sunglasses.
