Shewanders Photography is a San Diego, California-based studio available for worldwide travel whose lead photographers are Suzanne Hansen Ofeldt and Mike Ofeldt. We capture the powerful essence of relationships and celebrations by collaborating with creatives who live life loudly. We are honored to skillfully combine a professional framework with photography to create art that is honest, quirky, engaging, and personal.
Through our 15 years of experience, we have refined a practice that uses our clients’ vision and style as a north star for our work. We blend formal and editorial photography to provide complete coverage of your proposal, wedding, family gathering, or bucket list adventure. We want to know you, and we bring genuine enthusiasm to each project we have our hands in.
Shewanders maintains a limited client base annually so that the ideal time and attention is provided to you throughout the entire journey. Let’s wander together.
Suzanne Ofeldt is a world traveler who captures people's spirits through her unique wedding, portrait, and travel photography.
By combining people with her love for travel and photography, Suzanne delivers natural, personal and always engaging images. Through the eye of her lens, she has captured the people who color her life’s work. Through her own eyes, she sees the personalities and landscapes that fill her life with love and laughter.
Mike Ofeldt is from New York and crazy inspired by Bruce Lee and James Bond and movies.
He has an eye for all things cinematic and a love for all things artistic; especially music. Mike's knack for capturing unexpected, off beat and personal moments has colored his memorable portfolio of global wedding work over the past six years. When not enjoying laughter and intrigue, you can find Mike working out for fun (yes we said for fun!) whether that means hiking, running, circuit training, biking or boot camps.
