Was it love at first sight or shall I say love at first "online" site? Jodi and Stephen met online dating. Jodi knew the minute she saw Stephen's profile that they would fall in love. They had both tried online dating for years without much success until they found each other. Jodi describes her husband as kind and gentle and fiercely intelligent-- which she finds sexy. He regularly tells her and shows her how much he loves her through his words and actions(take notes boys). Not only does Stephen have a wicked sense of humor but he loves his job analyzing DNA and on his free time, he loves playing video games. It only makes sense that Jodi was able to find someone just as well rounded as herself. Jodi, luxurious yet practical is a high-powered business woman. The quick-witted beauty who loves to travel, eat at gourmet restaurants and read, found her someone special, to laugh about anything and everything in Stephen. In fact they even surprised their friends and family with an improv comedy troupe at their wedding. There wedding was filled with jokes and quotes from tv shows and movies. Suzanne was ecstatic to find out that they had in common a favorite tv show,"The Big Bang Theory" and a favorite musical "Avenue Q"! So for those feeling discouraged about the dating world, Jodi and Stephan are a testament to the fact that you can fall in love at first "online" site!
Being part of a Church can offer a sense of community. Some consider their community their family. In the case of Seann and Scott it was their church friends who introduced the two. Their faith brought them together and their community helped foster their family. The dynamic duo love to sing, camp, hike, entertain, visit friends and partake in church activities. At their wedding 17 musicians (all of which were their friends) performed which made Seann and Scott's special day even more special. Most of their guests were friends from their church who watched them meet, fall in love, break up, get back together, get engaged and finally witness the union between Seann and Scott.Dos Besos, Katie from the Wanderers
Chloe has been planning her wedding since she was about 15 years old. She dreamed that her wedding would be romantic. Her fairy tale wedding came true in her husband's backyard in Coronado with soft colors to add to the feel. She met her prince charming at a weird t-shirt birthday party. Although he at the time had a girlfriend, Chloe fell in love with the guy dressed up in a tuxedo shirt. Chloe's boy's dinosaur pajamas must have made an impression on Grant, because he was at her doorstep roughly three months after they met. Even with distance separating the two love birds (a long distance relationship) their love transcended any obstacle they encountered. Grant proposed to Chloe at Wine Glass Bay, Tazmania, Australia and she of course said yes to his jaw line, his sense of humor and his ability to put up with her worrying (3 things Chloe loves about Grant). This couple who have an extensive squirrel figurine collection and a knack for riding their tandem will sure be having fun and lauging no matter what as long as they are in each other's company!Dos Besos,

What is better than having a chef for a husband? Lucky Lynne met Brian while he was working as a chef at her friend's bridal shower. Lynne was a guest who was taken with the chef's good looks and obviously his cooking. But there is much more to Brian's talents and good looks. According to Lynne, Brian is the most caring, generous and warm hearted person she knows. His love for his family, son and herself has no bounds. Brian is a lucky man himself! Speaking in food terms- Brian, being peanut butter found his jelly (Lynne) to make the perfect PB &J! The couple who lives in the mountains loves to drink coffee on the porch on Sunday mornings, walk to the village, hike the lake, swim off the dock and sip wine by the fire. Sounds like 2 peas in a pod to me! Their wedding was a big party for all their friends and family. Their goal for the wedding was bare feet, sand and good food-- fun and casual! They tied the knot at ZLAC rowing company on the beach while a friend played acoustic guitar. By the sound of it, they know how to enjoy one another's company and know what matters at the end of the day- each other!Dos Besos,

I often share my voice and thoughts on the SheWanders blog, but today I am excited to share the photos I have taken of the "Wanderers" day of glamour and learning. The "Wanderers" also known as the interns at SheWanders were gathered together to play dress up and take photos. It all started with a day of beauty as the wonderful Audra René of Audra René Studio did our hair and makeup with her friend Elena . I felt like it was prom all over again! Not only did I get to put on a cute little cocktail dress and heels, but I also learned how to pose for the camera-- let's talk about a movie star moment! Even crazier is that i learned that each person has a feminine and masculine side to their face. If you think I'm crazy, go to the bathroom right now, stand in front of the mirror and cover one side of your face with a piece of paper. After a few seconds cover the other side of your face. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!! In fact it is true that everyone has a better side (your feminine side). So wild!I won't lie I do love being in front of the camera but due to my lack of height I think it is much safer to say that I belong behind the camera. It was great to work with Suzanne and Mike and learn their tricks of the trade. They sure know what they are doing! I am so glad that I was able to partake in this wonderful day of beauty and photography. It makes me realize how fortunate I am to have found a passion of mine that I can call my job!

In light of the New Year, I think it appropriate to highlight a couple, Anne and Tony, who met on New Years 5 years ago. I can’t think of a better way of starting off the New Year than finding love. Dancing to pop music when no one else is home, Anne found her life partner to dance through life with. In fact, “tiny dancer” was the first song they danced to. Together they transform into two kids who love to laugh and have fun. Anne and Tony tied the knot at the Japanese Friendship Gardens. I had the lucky opportunity to help shoot this wedding alongside Suzanne and Mike and witness the beautiful bond between Anne and Tony. Anne was radiating with happiness and Tony couldn’t keep his eyes off her. The union between Anne and Tony was one big dance party. There marriage is bound to be one fantastic soundtrack! Meet Anne and Tony!Dos Besos Katie
For some reason, every Thanksgiving I choose to get dressed up from head to toe in order to sit around the table and eat a big fat turkey with the fam. In hind sight, this is quite silly! Silly because I change into sweats at the end of the meal due to my skirt feeling a bit more snug. In order to still look stylish in my sweats, I always remember to accessorize. In search of looking for Thanksgiving accessories, I began to think about all the different accessories people wear during weddings. Since working in the wedding industry, it has become normal for my thoughts to be consumed by weddings. Here are some beautiful brides sharing their something blue, something borrowed and something new. Enjoy!Dos Besos, KatieHere is Morgan's Story about her wedding day choices.
Old - my shoes! I wore one of my favorite old pairs of gold strappy sandals because they're pretty and great for dancing. new - My dress! It was custom made for me, making it extra new. Does that count? :) I was going to wear a new jeweled headband, but then went with flowers and succulents in my hair. borrowed - One of my bridesmaids lent me her grandmother's beautiful gold and amethyst earrings. blue - I wore my grandmother's old wedding ring, the centerpiece of which is sapphire. and from our bride Jamie
OLD: My "old" is embarrassing; I have a pair of blue panties that I bought my sophomore year in college. They are clean and very cute! Since almost all the wedding accessories I wore were "new," I had to get creative ;) Also, I have a emerald ring that Adam, my hubby, gave me in 2007 that could be considered "old."
NEW: Adam gave me beautiful chandelier earrings as a wedding present. I proudly wore those earrings as my "new" item. My dress, shoes, veil, wedding ring and garter were all new as well.
BORROWED: I borrowed a tennis bracelet from a dear friend, Shirley. I was delicate and the perfect complement to my attire.
BLUE: Our wedding was decorated in royal blue and sunset colors. Blue was everywhere for our big day, including on my bridesmaids' dresses. The primary blue items I wore were my garter and a white handkerchief with blue decorative knitting my mother-in-law made which was the base of my bridal bouquet. Additionally, I had blue delphiniums in my bridal bouquet which incorporated another blue component.
